Nepal Human Rights International Film Festival
BVS Nepal has been participating to the 3rd Nepal Human Rights International Film Festival at the Nepal Tourism Board in Kathmandu from the 21st till the 24th February 2013.
Recently honored with Best documentary oscar ‘ Saving Faces’ opened the ceremony. ‘Saving Faces’ is a documentary about acid attack in Pakistan directed by Daniel Junge and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy in cooperation with ASTI Pakistan .
On the Saturday 23th February, ‘Saving Faces’ was screening for the second time followed by the short documentary ‘Meena’ which is a presentation movie about the work of BVS-Nepal and the suicide issue in Nepal. The screenings were followed by an interaction programme between the Vice President of BVS-Nepal, Mrs. Sulakshana Rana, and the audience.
Both movies had a great success and the documentary " Saving Face" awarded as best Documentary in 3rd Nepal Human Rights International Film Festival .
